How to prepare mushrooms
Rinse the fresh mushrooms under running water and place them on paper towels. To remove heavy dirt, use a soft sponge. If the caps of small young mushrooms are without damage and dark spots, you can do without cleaning — just cut off the darkened ends of the legs with a knife.
To peel the mushrooms, gently prick the skin with a knife or fingers and pull towards the center of the cap. If there are small areas of dirt or dark spots left, carefully remove them. Cut the "skirts" and update the cut on the leg. Rinse the mushrooms and dry them on paper towels.
If you use frozen mushrooms, first let them thaw in the refrigerator. You do not need to do this, only if you cook in a pressure cooker.
To emphasize the taste and make it more interesting, add salt and spices to the mushrooms. A few grams of citric acid will help preserve the color of the mushrooms.

In a pan, pour water-1.5 liters of liquid per 1 kg of mushrooms. Add 1-2 teaspoons of salt, citric acid, a few peas of allspice and other spices to your taste. Bring the water to a boil and put the mushrooms.
Fresh whole and large mushrooms cook on a low heat for 10-15 minutes after boiling, cut into pieces-5-7 minutes. Defrosted mushrooms will cook on average for 7-10 minutes. Ready-made mushrooms flip in a colander to drain the water.

Place the mushrooms in the bowl of the apparatus. You don't need to add water, but salt and your favorite spices won't hurt. To make it even tastier, you can sprinkle the mushrooms with seasonings and leave them for 15 minutes before cooking.
Then cover the slow cooker with a lid and cook whole fresh and defrosted mushrooms in the "Stew" mode for about 20 minutes.
Small pieces of mushrooms are cooked for about 5 minutes less.

So it is better to cook whole mushrooms: they will not lose moisture and are very juicy.
Salt the mushrooms, add the spices and leave for 15 minutes. Put the mushrooms in a single layer in the bowl of the device, legs up. Cook fresh mushrooms for 5-10 minutes, and defrosted ones for 7-10 minutes.

Put the mushrooms in a container that is suitable for use in a microwave oven. Season with salt and add the spices. Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes at maximum power, stirring once during this time.
Large whole mushrooms cook for about 1 minute more. One and a half to two minutes will be enough for the pieces.

Put the whole or chopped mushrooms in a bowl. Season with salt and spices. Pour boiling water and cook for no more than 4-5 minutes. To prepare mushrooms in this way, you do not need to defrost them.
